The return to school after the Christmas holidays has been delayed for many students, so when will Biddulph's students go back to school?
Speaking in the House of Commons, Gavin Williams announced a delayed return to secondary schools, with the majority of primary schools expected to open as normal.
Staffordshire County Council says its will be supporting the town's schools as much as it can over the next few weeks, and supporting the Department of Health roll-out of in-school testing if necessary.
Next week, all primary schools in Staffordshire will be opening as usual barring exceptional circumstances, while secondary schools are closed to everyone apart from the children of key workers and those considered vulnerable. Home to School transport will be running as usual for those entitled to it.
Year 11 and 13 Staffordshire pupils will be taught online at first, but from Monday, 11th January, Year 11 and 13 pupils will physically attend school and college, while Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 will continue to be taught online.
From Monday, 18th January, all secondary and college pupils are expected to return to the classroom in Staffordshire.
Jonathan Price, Staffordshire County Council's cabinet member for Education (and SEND), said: "School staff have been working very hard this year to deliver good education for our children in extraordinary circumstances and they deserve every credit.
"Following the recent Government announcements we are working closely with schools to help them where we can as they meet the latest challenges.
"We know schools are putting their arrangements in place and that they will be updating parents in the usual ways as soon as possible."
