Residents and visitors to Biddulph will have the chance to visit one of the town's most beloved attractions completely for free this week.
Biddulph Grange Gardens will be opening their doors to visitors free of charge on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th September - and you don't even have to book.
Visits are being offered for free as part of this year's Heritage Open Days event, meaning visitors will be able to simply walk in and enjoy the gardens without needing to fork out any money.
A standard ticket into the gardens usually costs £11 for an adult and £5.50 for a child.
The gardens will be open and free from 10am - 5.30pm on both the Friday and Saturday.
A spokesperson for Heritage Open Days said: "This year we are opening the gates at the end of the historic Lime Avenue into St Lawrence churchyard so you can recreate the walk garden creator James Bateman took from his home at Biddulph Grange to church.
"Enter Biddulph Grange Garden from St Lawrence churchyard via the Bateman Walk or from Biddulph Grange Garden along the Lime Avenue, the oldest part of the garden and through the gates of the Churchyard onto the Bateman Walk.
"These gates into the churchyard haven't been open to the public to walk through for over 30 years."
A spokesperson for Biddulph Grange Gardens added: "We are pleased to announce that we are taking part in Heritage Open Days again this year.
"On Friday 10th and Saturday 11th September (10am-5.30pm) it is free to visit the garden and there is no need to book."
On Saturday visitors will also be able to enjoy the Classic Vehicle Show, taking place just down the road on Biddulph High Street.
A spokesperson for Biddulph Town Council said: "Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to see the Biddulph Grange Garden and then take a stroll along the High Street as part of the Classic Vehicle Show."
