The Eat Out to Help Out registration page went live this morning (Monday) on GOV.UK, allowing businesses to join the scheme announced last week by Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak.

Staffordshire Moorlands District Council is preparing to recover from the financial impact of Coronavirus on the authority, which is predicted to be up to £2.3 million.

That figure has been named in a document to be presented to the council's Resources Overview and Scrutiny Panel on Wednesday, as the council plans how it aims to recover from the effects of the virus.

The council declared a climate emergency at a meeting on 10 July last year and, since then, has established the Climate Change sub-committee and agreed a work programme. The authority's main goal is to make the Moorlands carbon neutral by 2030.
