Teenagers have been invited to learn new skills, win prizes and have fun at Biddulph Youth and Community Zone's upcoming summer programme.

The programme will be a chance to meet new friends in a fun environment, involving competitions and prizes but will also provide the opportunity to learn skills such as team working, problem solving and time management.

Participants will be able to complete activities leading to the City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Employability Skills.

This qualification supports individuals in developing the skills and attitudes valued by employers.

The aim is to help individuals successfully prepare for and get a job in the future, as well as provide them with the tools to succeed and advance in their role.

The programme will be delivered by two experienced facilitators with expertise in international business. Each day will run from 9.00am to 4.00pm and lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Two programmes will run – one week commencing 2nd August and one week commencing 9th August.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
