"Suspicious person" spotted looking into Biddulph houses in early hours of Christmas Day

Police have appealed for information after a "suspicious person" was seen looking into people's houses on a Biddulph street.

Officers say the person was spotted on the early hours of Christmas Day - at around 2am on the morning of 25th December.

The incident took place on Bateman Avenue, although no description of the person has been given so far.

Police have now asked anyone who may have seen anything suspicious around this time to get in touch with them.

PCSO Stephen Sherratt, of Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team, said: "At approximately 02:00 hrs on 25th December 2020 we had reports of a suspicious person in the area.

"He was seen looking into peoples houses.

"Due to the time there is no description of person seen.

"If you saw anything suspicious in the area at the time please call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 54 of 25/12/2020."
