Police are investigating after fog lights were stolen from a vehicle on a Biddulph street.

Officers say "unknown offenders" stole the lights from a Ford Fiesta parked on Kingsfield Road.

The theft took place on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

Police have now asked residents to ensure their vehicles are secure, and to get in touch with them if they may have seen anything suspicious around this time.

PCSO Stephen Sherratt, of Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team, said: "In between 18:00 hrs on 24th December and 13:00 hrs on 25th December unknown offenders have taken fog lights from a Ford Fiesta.

"At this time there are no known descriptions of offenders.

"Please check your vehicles to ensure they are secure.

"If you have seen anything suspicious in the area please call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 179 of 26/12/2020."
