Biddulph residents have been invited to go along and enjoy a free concert that's being held in the town hall this month.
Biddulph Male Voice Choir is staging a concert on Saturday 18th June at the town hall on Biddulph High Street.
It starts at 7.30pm and is completely free for anyone to attend.
A spokesperson for the choir explained that they decided to hold the concert as a thankyou to the people of Biddulph, and as a celebration of the choir turning 100 years old.
They said: "The free concert is a way of saying a big thankyou to the people of Biddulph and surrounding areas for all their support to the choir over the past 100 years.
"This year is the choir's centenary year making it one of the oldest male voice choirs in the country and we wouldn't have reached this milestone without the support of the local community."
We reported recently how Biddulph Male Voice Choir started off their Centenary Year with a concert held at Congleton Town Hall to raise funds for their chosen charity Prostate Cancer UK.
The choir sang a full concert of both old and new songs and even one number that was requested on the night to show their versatility.
Tickets for this month's concert are available from Biddulph Library, and from Biddulph Town Hall, and as numbers are limited it is advised that they are obtained as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
The choir rehearses each Wednesday night from 7pm to 9pm at Biddulph High School, and the choir says anyone who would like to be part of the choir would be given a warm welcome on these nights. You don't have to be able to read music to be part of the choir or undergo an embarrassing audition.
