Residents have been welcomed to enjoy a free Easter trail that's starting at Biddulph Grange Country Park this weekend.

The trail starts at the Hideaway Café on Sunday 10th April and runs from 10am - 4pm until Easter Sunday - 17th April.

A spokesperson for Biddulph Town Council explained more about the event and how people can get involved.

They said: "This half term why not head down to the Hideaway Café at the Biddulph Grange Country Park and take part in the free trail?

"Call into the café to collect your trail sheet, take a walk around the park ticking off the images as you find them, then call back to the café for a sweet reward!"

They added: "The trail is free and parking is free at the Biddulph Grange Country Park not at the Biddulph Grange Gardens. The trail is aimed at young children.

"There are six images to find they will all be in main paths and not by water. There are free toilets at the Visitor Centre.

"Please remember to keep your children with you, there are areas of deep and cold water.

"The Biddulph Country Park is a woodland area and so has very uneven terrain with tree roots, it is not suitable for those with limited mobility / wheelchairs / mobility scooters and certain types of pushchair.

"The area is open and free for all to use all year round and is popular with dog walkers."
