Aldi begins advertising jobs for upcoming Biddulph supermarket
Aldi has begun advertising a number of roles available for its upcoming Biddulph supermarket, expected to open later this year.
The store is currently under construction and is beginning to take shape, as can be seen in the picture below.
Aldi bosses have reportedly said they are aiming to get the supermarket open before the end of the year, and in time for the busy Christmas shopping period.
And ahead of that much anticipated opening, Aldi have now begun to advertise a number of Biddulph jobs as the company starts looking for staff to run its latest store.
Several roles are now available on Aldi's website, including "Career Starter" apprentice roles, as well as cleaners and stock assistants, ranging all the way up to a deputy manager position.
The job details for Aldi's Career Starter role says that staff will "never be bored" while working in the new Biddulph store.
It reads: "One thing's for sure as a Career Starter Apprentice in Retail you'll never be bored. Balancing theory with practical store work, you'll be expected to work hard on this one-year programme.
"There's a real family feel here and we all pitch in as part of a close-knit team. And since there's always loads of support from those around you, ranging from Store Managers to Store Assistants, you'll never feel like you're struggling.
"In this fast paced environment you'll get to learn something new every day in a company that thrives on being different. As someone who wants to make things happen, you'll find all this adds up to an exciting challenge.
"The time will fly by and before you know it you will have your Level 2 Retail qualification and be working as a fully-fledged Store Assistant with real opportunities for progression in the future."
