Biddulph Grange Gardens to close for two days every week in November
Biddulph Grange Gardens will be closed for two days a week, every week in November, the popular tourist attraction and beauty spot announced today.
A spokesperson for the historic gardens said today: "We are closed every Thursday and Friday in November."
No reason was given for the closures, although residents speculated that visitor demand to visit the gardens is not as high at this time of year due to the colder weather.
The gardens will remain open from 10am - 3.30pm on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
The shop will also open from 11am - 3.30pm, and the tea room will be open from 10am - 3pm.
There are still plenty of events to enjoy at the gardens in November, including a 'meet the fossils' event this Sunday (6th November).
A spokesperson said: "A rare opportunity to see our real fossils. Meet our lovely Geological Gallery guides and learn about James Bateman's fascinating collection."
There is also a 'meet the baby dinosaurs' event next Saturday (12th November) which sounds perfect for little ones.
The event description says: "Meet the rangers with their baby dinosaurs on the Woodland terrace at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm."
