Biddulph Have Your Say: How well has the Government handled the Coronavirus crisis?

How do you think the Government has handled the Coronavirus pandemic?

With Coronavirus holding sway over our lives since March – five long months – do you think Boris Johnson and his ministers have done a good job?

How do you think PM Johnson and his chancellor Rishi Sunak have fared in protecting jobs, businesses and our economy for example?

People in Biddulph, Staffordshire and indeed the entire country spent March, April and May in complete lockdown.

Respite has come in stages this summer as lockdown restrictions have been eased somewhat, but the 'new normal' appears to be with us for a while yet, perhaps even to the end of 2020 and beyond.

Your opinion matters to us - we want to know how you feel the government has handled the crisis so far.

How do you assess the way the government has gone about minimising deaths, their effectiveness in testing and tracing and providing PPE, as well as their handling of lockdown rules?

Also, how do you think the opposition parties have fared during the pandemic - what's your reaction to the way new Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has performed?
