Teens "armed with weapons" injured in Highfield Road fight

Police have appealed for information after a group of teens "armed with weapons" were involved in a fight in Biddulph, with some being left with injuries.

Police say the incident took place at Highfield Road on Sunday evening (2nd August), with officers being called to the road after a report of a disorder.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police has now asked anyone who may have information to contact them.

They said: "Officers were called to a report of disorder at Highfield Road in Biddulph at around 6.10pm on Sunday (2 August).

"A number of teenagers, some believed to have been armed with weapons, were involved in a fight and two teenagers were left with injuries.

"Enquiries are on-going and anyone with information is asked to come forward by messaging Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter, call 101 quoting incident number 632 of 2 August or alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
