Biddulph male voice choir to hold another fundraising concert this weekend

Local News by Jack Lenton 21st Jul 2022

Biddulph residents have been invited to go along and enjoy another concert being held by Biddulph Male Voice Choir this weekend.

The choir will be performing at St Lawrence's Church at 7.30pm on Saturday (23rd July).

Tickets are £5 each and can be bought from Biddulph Town Hall or Biddulph Library, and include a free programme and refreshments.

A collection will also be made for Biddulph in Bloom in memory of Hilda Sheldon MBE.

Spokesperson for the choir, Ian Barber said: "Last chance to buy tickets for the choir concert on Saturday 23rd July at St Lawrence Church, Biddulph.

"There will be a collection during the concert in aid of Biddulph in Bloom in memory of Hilda Sheldon MBE, their founder, and a champion of Biddulph.

"Ticket prices for this concert have been reduced to £5, under 16s free, and are available from Biddulph Town Hall, Biddulph Library, and at the door on the night.

"This is the best value live entertainment in town, so don't be disappointed!"

Correction: An earlier edition of this article said that the concert would be at the town hall. It is in fact at St Lawrence's Church. We apologise for this error.
