Two Alton Towers fans from Biddulph had their latest trip to the local theme park featured on a BBC travel show - and you can watch it online now.
Rachel Pender and her 10-year-old daughter Sappy were featured on the BBC programme The Travel Show as part of its segment on Alton Towers.
The show explored the history of the theme park and how it was rebuilding after being forced to close due to Coronavirus restrictions.
It also met several Alton Towers super fans, including Rachel and Sappy, who took a hair-raising ride on the theme park's Smiler rollercoaster.
Sappy had waited for four years to be tall enough to ride the Smiler (140cm) and it's safe to say that the white knuckle ride didn't disappoint!
Rachel said on the show: "I work in elderly health care and it was quite tough during lockdown, so to be able to come back here is amazing.
"I class Alton Towers as my little piece of heaven on earth, that's how it makes me feel."
She added: "We absolutely adore Alton Towers and love to share our adventures from our happy place on social media.
"There's not many 10 year olds who would be brave enough to have their very first Smiler ride captured on TV, I certainly would not have been brave enough at that age.
"I'm so, so proud of her. This was such an emotional day that meant the absolute world to us."
If you would like to watch the full show, it is available now on BBC iPlayer - The Travel Show episode 16 (Pompeii: Robots in the Ruins).
