A Biddulph rollercoaster enthusiast has had her Instagram page nominated for a prestigious theme park award - and you can vote for her!

Rachel Pender, who goes by Roller Coaster Rachel on Instagram, boasts over 21,000 followers on the platform as well as 139,000 on TikTok.

The social media star, who aims to use her platforms to share the magic of her favourite theme parks with the world, has now been nominated for the 'Instagrammer of the Year' award by Theme Parks UK.

However, competition is tough, as she is also up against nine other Instagrammers in the nominations.

Rachel described the nomination as a "huge honour", saying: "I've been nominated for Instagrammer of the year in the UK Theme Park awards.

"Just to be nominated in this category is a huge, huge honour, it really does blow me away."

The pair took a hair-raising ride on the theme park's Smiler rollercoaster after Sappy waited for years to finally be tall enough to ride it!
