Biddulph schools are to begin renovation works after the Moorlands was allocated a share of a £434 million Government investment.
The money has been allocated to expand classrooms, upgrade facilities and improve education for children locally and across the country.
Several Biddulph schools will be using the funding to undertake new projects, including Biddulph High School, which will begin a hot water supply project, electrical safety and statutory compliance works.
Woodhouse Academy will be replacing a dilapidated teaching block, and Castle Primary School in Mow Cop will be upgrading a building to comply with fire safety regulations.
The funding is to ensure schools have well-maintained facilities to provide students with safe environments that support a high-quality education.
Moorlands MP Karen Bradley has welcomed the funding, saying: "Coronavirus has taken a toll on us all, not least our children, who have been kept from their friends, their teachers and their schools.
"As we exit lockdown we must focus on getting children back to school – and ensure that schools have the facilities and classrooms they need to support the high-quality education our children deserve.
"This funding will help ensure all children have the very best possible schools and education, enabling them to gain all the knowledge and skills they need for success."
Education Secretary, Gavin Williamson added: "My number-one focus will always be to make sure every student has access to excellent education and training.
"Replacing and upgrading poor condition school and college buildings with modern, energy efficient designs will give our students and teachers the environment they deserve, and support them to maximise their potential.
"As we look forward to this September and all children returning to school, we can be assured that for years to come this country's education system will drive opportunity and prosperity for all."
The remaining school projects that will be carried out in the Moorlands are as follows:
•St Edward's Church of England Academy in Cheddleton - roof repairs
•St Werburgh's CE (A) Primary School in Kingsley - roofing replacement•Westwood College in Leek - new hall and roof repairs
•Waterhouses CofE Primary Academy in Waterhouses - cold and hot water pipework replacement•All Saints CofE First School in Leek - safeguarding
