19-year-old taken to hospital following Tunstall Road crash

A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital following a crash on Tunstall Road in Knypersley last night (Tuesday).
The crash occurred just after 7:45pm, with police, firefighters and paramedics being called to the scene.
The 19-year-old's car crashed into railings and rolled over, before he was able to free himself and be tended to by paramedics, with injuries not believed to be serious.
He was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital, and the road was closed in both directions while the emergency services were in attendance.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "Officers were called to a report of a road traffic collision involving one vehicle on Tunstall Road in Knypersley by colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service at 7.45pm last night.
"A car had collided with railings and rolled over. A 19-year-old man from the vehicle was not injured and was checked over by paramedics. Highways England also attended."
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 7.40pm last night to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and railings on Tunstall Road.
"We sent one ambulance to the scene. We treated a man, who was the driver of the car, for injuries not believed to be serious before taking him to the Royal Stoke University Hospital for further treatment."
And a spokesperson for Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service added: "We were called to Tunstall Road at 7.47pm to reports of a road traffic collision.
"One crew from Biddulph and one from Sandyford attended - but Sandyford was stood down on the way to the scene.
"Everyone was out of their vehicles on arrival so crews made the car safe.
"One male was checked over by paramedics before being taken to hospital."
Police are investigating the incident, and anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident number 622 of June 30.
