Several cars on Station Road were damaged and one "completely written off" after residents reported a motorist crashing into their cars before driving off and then abandoning their vehicle.

Biddulph residents said that the incident occurred on Friday evening (10th December). A man was seen leaving the Royal Oak before getting into a black Volvo and crashing into several cars near the Brammers shop on Station Road.

Residents also reported that the car hit the wall of the Whittaker & Biggs building on Station Road, and hit the curb near the roundabouts at Aldi on Tunstall Road.

A damaged black Volvo was later found abandoned nearby.

Nub News contacted Staffordshire Police for more information, however they declined to comment.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "Since this is a non-injury RTC (road traffic collision), we will not be providing a statement."
