A Biddulph veterinary surgeon will be raising money for a breast cancer charity this week, and everyone has been welcomed to pop in and help them with their fundraising efforts.

Staff at Charter Vets on Congleton Road will 'Wear It Pink' for Breast Cancer Now on Thursday, 20th October.

Staff will be wearing items of pink clothing in support of the charity on the day, and will be also hosting a cake sale as part of their fundraising efforts.

Residents have been encouraged to pop into the office, buy a cake and see what pink items the staff will be wearing in support of this great cause.

A spokesperson for Charter Vets said: "On Thursday 20th October we will be hosting a cake sale to raise money for 'Wear it Pink' breast cancer charity, which is a charity close to all our hearts.

"Please come along and support this fantastic cause and see if you can spot what items of pink our staff will be wearing.

"We look forward to seeing you all."

Breast Cancer Now's wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people wear it pink each year, and have raised over £37 million in total across the 20 years the event has been taking place.
