Would you like to work at Biddulph Youth and Community Zone?

The Zone is hiring a Youth Worker to join the team in a paid position on Friday evenings.

In a post on the Zone's social media page, the qualities that a youth worker would need to succeed were explained.

They were:

- Understanding: It is imperative that a youth worker has the patience and understanding required to work with young people.

- Heart: A youth worker really cares about the difference they are making to young lives.

- Experience: Knowledge and understanding of young people's needs.

- Hands On: Youth workers aren't afraid to create and lead their own activities, utilising their many talents.

- Strength: Young people can be tough. A youth worker needs strength both mentally and physically to deliver the best sessions, with the hope that this strength is passed on to the young people.

A spokesperson for the Zone said: "Are you interested in working with young people?

"We are looking for a Youth Worker to join our team on a Friday Evening, between 6pm - 9pm. This is a paid position.

"You will need experience working with young people aged 9 years to 19 years.
