Breaking: Emergency services close Biddulph road after car crashes into garden

Police, paramedics and fire crews have been called to a Biddulph road after a car crashed into a garden hedge.

Park Lane has been closed near the junction with Conway Road due to the crash, which took place at around 5pm today (Tuesday 24th May).

Residents have reported that an elderly couple were in the car, which was flipped into the air during the crash.

A rescue operation is currently underway with two ambulances in attendance as well as fire engines.

Traffic is currently being diverted down Woodland Street, Mill Hayes Road and St David's Way while emergency services carry out their work.
