Details have been revealed for one of the most popular events in the Biddulph calendar this year!

The Biddulph Christmas lights switch on is coming up in just a few weeks and now the date that the lights are going on has been revealed.

The switch on this year is taking place on Saturday, 26th November at 6pm on Biddulph High Street.

Everyone has been welcome to come along and see the town bathed in festive colours.

There will also be a range of entertainment and a Christmas market, as well as a visit from Santa and his sleigh!

A spokesperson for Biddulph Town Council said: "The Christmas Lights Switch On event takes place on Saturday 26th November.

"With entertainment and Christmas Market available from 4.30pm, Christmas Lights will be turned on by the Mayor and his helpers at 6pm followed by Santa arriving on his sleigh straight after."
