On our What's On page people can submit their upcoming local events, no matter how big or small, and spread the word for free on our site to our thousands of Biddulph readers.

Make sure to check out our What's On page regularly to find out about the latest upcoming local events, as we update the page several times a week with all the newest things happening in the town.

We are now also going to be giving you the highlights of our What's On page in our news section with our weekly 'Event of the Week' articles, picking one of the most exciting events on the page each week.

This week's event is Biddulph's upcoming Artisan Market, which is held on the first Friday of every month outside Biddulph Town Hall on the High Street.

The market takes place from 9am - 3pm and boasts a wide array of local traders and stalls.

A spokesperson for Biddulph Town Council said about this week's market: "We look forward to welcoming you all to the August Artisan Market this Friday.

"Those seeking a refreshment or two will be well catered for with Cheshire Pies, Staffordshire Savoury Eggs and Flash Brewery all in attendance, alongside Paul from Select Fish.

"Pets will be able to get treated too with Darwins Pet Shop holding their first Market Stall with us!

"Crafters, makers and artists are aplenty this week, and hand made wares can be brought from Sue Booth, Aphrodite Designs, Happy Creations, Abbi Through the Ears, Made with Love and Ruth Breen.

"The ever-popular LJB Plants will of course be there on Friday, and Biddulph Local People's Project will be running the weekly book exchange.

"You can also find out more about Biddulph U3A and the Green Tree House by visiting Mavis and Amanda at their stalls at the Market on Friday."
