Key Responsibilities of the Logistics Assistant:

- Incoterms and Shipping Terminology - Preferable

- Hazardous Goods Awareness. Preferable

- Good Mathematical and English standards.

- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Team orientated.

- Commercially astute

- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

- Microsoft products and Navision (or similar)

- Good level of education

Skills & Experience Required:

- Communicate with warehouse to have orders packed up and verified in time for collection/delivery.

- Arrange freight quotations for customers, sales team, and agents.

- Liaise with internal departments, freight forwarders, official agencies, and customers.

- Help posting sales orders in preparation for invoicing.

- Assist Logistics Manager in their duties.

- Assist Shipping Coordinator in their duties and cover their job when required.

- Any other ad-hoc duties when required.
