On our What's On page people can submit their upcoming local events, no matter how big or small, and spread the word for free on our site to our thousands of Biddulph readers.

We are now also going to be giving you the highlights of our What's On page in our news section with our weekly 'Event of the Week' articles, picking one of the most exciting events on the page each week.

This week's event is the Biddulph Seed Swap.

Swapping seeds is a great way to share new plant ideas.

Residents can pick up envelopes and drop seeds off at Biddulph Youth and Community Zone, Biddulph Town Hall and Designer Hair Studio.

Seeds can be dropped off until 30th September, and new seeds can be picked up from 13th - 30th October at Biddulph Youth and Community Zone or Biddulph Town Hall.

A spokesperson said: "Why not join our seed swap project? Pop into one of our pick-up points if you need envelopes for your seeds.

"If not, use your own envelopes, pick your seeds, name the plants on the envelope and take to one of our drop-off places."
