Teenage cyclist suffers serious injuries in collision with car in Biddulph

Paramedics took a teenage cyclist to hospital after a collision in Biddulph.
The collision took place yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 14th September) on Brown Lees Road, Brown Lees, Biddulph.
Two ambulances attended the scene just before 5pm yesterday, and took the boy to Royal Stoke University Hospital.
The motorist involved in the collision did not suffer any injuries.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 4.44pm yesterday (Tuesday, September 14) to reports of a car and a motorised pushbike that had collided on Brown Lees Road, Brown Lees.
"Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene. On arrival, we discovered one patient, the cyclist, a teenage boy.
"He was assessed and had sustained serious injuries, he received treatment at the scene and was conveyed to Royal Stoke University Hospital for further treatment. The driver of the car was not injured."
