At Nub News we want to put the local community at the heart of everything we do.

We'll always aim to highlight the great work that so many people do in Biddulph, and the town is renowned for it's community spirit, so we want to reflect that!

As well as tackling the hard news affecting the town, we are also keen to promote positive stories that brighten up people's lives and get the town talking.

For example, our Up Close interview series allows local people to get their message out there and promote themselves, whether it's their business, hobby, or anything else they want to chat about! To have your own Up Close article, feel free to message us on Facebook with your idea.

So here are four ways that Biddulph Nub News aims helps the local community.

1. Promoting local businesses

This is one of our key aims at Nub News - we love local businesses.

We currently have a register of 26 businesses on our local list and it is absolutely free to sign up to - which you can do HERE.

2. Promoting local events

We don't shout about our What's On section enough, and that needs to change!

Whether it is a virtual class or a socially distanced event we can help you promote it, free of charge.

Simply visit the What's On section and click the "Nub It" button to create your own post.

3. Reporting on issues that matter to you

We put Biddulph at the heart of everything we do.

Every story we cover should mean something to the people of Biddulph, so if the story isn't relevant to the town, we won't run it.

4. Letting your voice be heard

You can write your own posts for Biddulph Nub News! Just visit our Home Page and click the black "Nub It" button and you can submit your own story.

Whether it is about your business, charity, sports team or just a cause you feel strongly about feel free to "Nub It" and have the whole town get involved.

Plus if you are an aspiring journalist looking to get published then feel free to Nub your stories too.
