Free parking will be available in Biddulph for four days in December as residents head into town to do some Christmas shopping.

Staffordshire Moorlands District Council is offering free parking at Wharf Road car park on the following days as part of the Christmas preparations:

- Friday 3rd December

- Saturday 4th December

- Saturday 11th December

- Saturday 18th December

Free parking was also provided on Saturday 27th November.

A spokesperson for the district council said: "All other parking regulations still apply.

"Please park carefully or you may be issued with a penalty charge."
