Police have asked anyone with information to contact them following reports of a set of golf clubs being stolen on Woodhouse Lane in Biddulph.

The force says it has "no descriptions" of who may have taken the clubs, and they are also unsure of when they may have been stolen.

However, the incident has been logged as taking place around the time of Wednesday last week.

"The set contained a full set of irons, 7.2 Wedges, 3 Woods and a very old distinctive putter.

"There are no descriptions of offenders and we are unsure when they were taken.
