"Unknown offenders" steal fishing rods from Princess Street garage

Police have issued an appeal for information after "unknown offenders" took fishing equipment from a garage on Princess Street, Biddulph.

The thefts took place between Tuesday and Thursday last week, with a wide range of rods and angling equipment being stolen.

Police have now asked anyone who may have seen something suspicious at this time to get in touch with them.

PCSO Stephen Sherratt, of Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team, said: "Between Tuesday, 18th August and Thursday, 20th August unknown offenders have broken into a garage and have taken fishing equipment.

"This being a rod bag containing three rods, aqua pack bromley, bank stick, ruck sack,alarms, buzz bars, power pack, and tackle.

"The rods are three free spirits high s, three shamarno reels, and 2 storm sticks.

"If you saw anything suspicious please call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident 183 of 20th August."
