With the August Bank Holiday coming up this weekend, many supermarkets are altering their opening times slightly over the next few days.

It's worth knowing the latest opening hours so you don't turn up for your big shop only to find the supermarket closed!

Biddulph's two supermarkets - Sainsbury's on the High Street and Aldi on Tunstall Road - have confirmed their opening times over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Here is when the town's two supermarkets will be open over the next few days:

Aldi

• Friday 26 August 8am - 10pm
• Saturday 27 August 8am - 10pm
• Sunday 28 August 10am - 4pm
• Monday 29 August 8am - 8pm

Sainsbury's

• Friday 26 August 8am - 10pm
• Saturday 27 August 8am - 10pm
• Sunday 28 August 10am - 4pm
• Monday 29 August 7am - 8pm

Both supermarkets are operating under their usual opening hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

On Bank Holiday Monday, Aldi is opening at its usual time of 8am but closing two hours earlier, at 8pm instead of 10pm.

Sainsbury's on the other hand is opening an hour earlier than usual, at 7am, but also closing two hours earlier at 8pm.
