Police have asked anyone with information to contact them after a garage was broken into in Brown Edge, with items being stolen from a vehicle inside it.
Police believe the incident took place yesterday (Tuesday) morning or on Monday evening, on Willfield Lane in the village.
It's also thought that the unknown offenders entered a shed on Thursday or Friday last week.
Police have now asked local residents to ensure their outbuildings are secure.
PCSO Peter Johnson, of Staffordshire Police's Biddulph Team, said: "Police are appealing for information after unknown offender/s have gained access to a garage from Willfield Lane, Brown Edge and stolen items from a vehicle.
"This incident took place between 9.45pm on Monday 24th August and 9am Tuesday 25th August.
"Enquiries in the area have also made police aware the offender/s entered a shed on the night of the 20th or 21st August.
"Police are advising residents to make sure vehicles and outbuildings are all locked up.
"If anyone has any information in relation to the above incidents they are asked to call 101 and quote incident number 749 of 25th August."
