Metal bar used to smash vehicle's window in Biddulph

Police have appealed for information after an "unknown offender" used a metal bar to smash the window of a vehicle in Biddulph.

The incident took place in the afternoon or early evening of Tuesday, 15th December, on Thames Drive.

The vehicle was secure and parked on a driveway on the street.

Police have asked anyone who may have CCTV of the area, or anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious at this time, to get in touch with them.

PCSO Laura Peacock, from Staffordshire Police, said: "Between 2:15pm and 7:10pm on 15th December an unknown offender has approached a secure vehicle parked on the driveway on Thames Drive in Biddulph.

"The offender has used a metal bar and has smashed a window on the vehicle.

"If anyone has any CCTV in the area or if you were a witness to this incident please contact 101 or report via social media and quote incident number 584 of 15th December."
