A man was arrested in Biddulph after blowing over four times the drink-drive limit at the weekend.
Officers from Staffordshire Police's Biddulph team stopped the driver at around 2am on Saturday morning (September 19th).
Taking a breathalyser test, the 46-year-old man recorded 171 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath at the roadside.
This is over four times the legal drink drive limit, which is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
A Staffordshire Moorlands Police spokesperson warned against drink driving, reminding motorists of the potential cost of "a short trip to the kebab house".
They said: "Officers from the Biddulph local policing team, working through the night, have arrested a 46-year-old male for drink driving.
"171 at the roadside!
"A short trip to the kebab house equals a trip to the courts later!"
