A new planning application has been submitted to construct a two-bedroom bungalow on land at Breach Road, Brown Edge.

The application was submitted to Staffordshire Moorlands District Council this week by a Mr Paul Climpson and relates to an area of land near the junction between Breach Road and Sandy Lane.

The plans include two bedrooms as well as a kitchen, dining and lounge area, a shower room and two parking spaces.

A planning statement prepared on behalf of the applicant states: "The dwelling makes efficient use of the plot, has adequate outdoor amenity space, respects principal window interfacing distances.

"The design employs traditional facing materials, and the scale and layout respect the surrounding properties. The site is in a location which reduces the reliance on vehicles."

Staffordshire Moorlands District Council's planning officers will have the final say on the application at a later date.
