Police appeal after "suspicious vehicle" seen waiting outside people's driveways in Biddulph

Police have appealed for information after a "suspicious vehicle" was reported in Biddulph.

Officers say the vehicle was spotted in the Gillow Heath area, and was seen "staring at people's driveways" where caravans were parked.

The vehicle was a white Iveco Daily van, and was spotted on Saturday, 6th February.

Police have now asked anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to get in touch with them.

PCSO Stephen Sherratt, of Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team, said: "We have had reports of a suspicious vehicle in the Gillow Heath area.

"The vehicle was seen slowing down and staring up peoples driveways where caravans were situated.

"Vehicle described as a White Iveco Daily Panel Van, with a registration number beginning with FJ5.

"If you have seen anything suspicious in the area please call Staffordshire police on 101 quoting incident 383 of 06/02/2021."
