Police have issued another appeal after a cement mixer was vandalised in Biddulph, for the second time in just two weeks.
Biddulph Nub News reported earlier this month how a male was seen near the cement mixer at Greenfield, near Springfield Road.
At the time, police said the cement mixer's straps were cut, and a male was seen on a nearby grass area.
Now police have reissued their appeal after an almost identical incident took place last night (Wednesday).
One of the cement mixer's straps was cut yet again, and police have asked anyone with information to contact them.
PCSO Peter Johnson, of Staffordshire Police's Biddulph team, said: "Police are appealing for information after it appears someone was disturbed while attempting to take a cement mixer from Greenfield, Biddulph.
"This has taken place on the evening of Wednesday 23rd September.
"A strap holding was cut and police are aware of previous attempts in the area.
"If anyone has information they are asked to call Staffordshire Police 101 and quote incident number 840 of 23rd September."
PCSO Clare Sartin, also of Staffordshire Police's Biddulph team, said following the first incident earlier this month: "In the early hours on Thursday 10th September some straps were cut on a cement mixer on Greenfield, Biddulph.
"A male was seen at the time on the grass area opposite Greenfield off Springfield Road.
"If anybody in the area has CCTV or saw anything suspicious please contact Staffordshire police quoting incident number 0036 from 10th September."
