Police appeal after lawnmower stolen from garden in Biddulph

Police are appealing for information after a lawnmower was stolen from someone's garden in Biddulph.

Officers say the theft took place on Kingsfield Road last week.

Police have now asked residents to make sure they don't leave any valuable gardening equipment unattended, and asked anyone who may have any information to contact them.

PCSO Laura Peacock, of Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team, said: "A report has been made in relation to the theft of a lawn mower taken from a garden on Kingsfield Road, Biddulph.

"The theft took place on 13/06/2022 between 10am-10.15am.

"This is the 4th lawn mower to have been stolen in the last week.

"Please be vigilant when leaving high value equipment unattended.

"If you have seen any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area please contact 101 and quote serial 479 13th June."
