Police appeal after offenders break into garden and leave hosepipe running in Biddulph

Police have appealed for information after "unknown offenders" broke into a Biddulph garden and damaged the property.

After breaking into the garden, they left the hosepipe running, causing damage to the garden.

The incident took place on St John's Road, on the evening of Friday, 15th January.

Police have now asked anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to get in touch with them.

PCSO Stephen Sherratt, of Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team, said: "Some time during the evening of 15/01/2021, unknown offenders have approached a secure rear garden and have caused damage to the premises.

"Offenders have gained entry to the garden and have damaged a hosepipe, whilst there they turned the hosepipe on and it has been running continuously.

"At this time there is no specific times this happened or any further description of offenders.

"Please check your premises in the area and if you saw anything suspicious please call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident 0259 19/01/2021."
