Police have appealed for information after two "suspicious males" were filmed on someone's doorbell camera in Biddulph.

Officers say the two males approached an address just after midnight on Sunday 1st May.

As they made their way towards the front door one of them could be heard saying "there's a camera right there" before covering their faces and leaving the property.

Police have now asked anyone with information to get in touch with them.

Staffordshire Police's Biddulph PCSO Laura Peacock said: "A report has been made that two suspicious males have been seen approaching an address on Tunstall Road in Biddulph at 00.10hrs of 01/05/2022.

"One of the males was carrying a torch as they made their way towards the front door.

"From the ring door bell, one of the males can be heard saying 'there's a camera right there' to which they both covered their faces and left the property.

"Both of the males are approximately late teens early 20's, of slim build, wearing tracksuits and one wearing a puffer-jacket.

"If you notice anything suspicious please contact 101 or 999 in an emergency."
