Police name man on Biddulph roof following court appearance today

Police have named a man who was spotted on the roof of a house in Biddulph after he appeared in court today.

Nub News reported recently how ambulances, police cars and a police riot van were called to Moorland Road in Biddulph after a man was spotted on the roof of one of the houses.

The incident took place on Friday 29th April.

A man has now been charged with breaching a non-molestation order and appeared in court earlier today (Tuesday 3rd April).

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "Officers were called at 4.50pm on Friday (29 April) to an address near Lawton Street, Stoke-on-Trent, following reports of a man on a roof.

"A 36-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was detained at the scene.

"Sonny Condliffe, 36, of Outclough Road, Brindley Ford, has since been charged with breaching a non-molestation order.

"He appeared before magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre earlier today (Tuesday 3 May)."
