Police have appealed for information after two men were seen "looking around people's driveways" in Biddulph.

Officers say the incident took place just before 9am yesterday morning (Wednesday) in the Park Lane area.

Police have now asked people in the area to ensure nothing of value is on display in their garages or outbuildings, and to check that their garages are secure.

Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious has been asked to contact Staffordshire Police.

PCSO Stephen Sherratt, of Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team, said: "At approx. 08:50am on 10th February two males were seen in the Park Lane area looking around peoples driveways.

"They were described as two white males, one male aged in their 20s, dark hair, wearing a dark hoody.

"The second male was in their mid 40's wearing a denim colour coat, with a grey sweatshirt with the hood pulled up.

"Please ensure that nothing of high value is on display and when not in your garage or outbuilding that the door is closed.

"If you saw anything suspicious please call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident 207 of 10/02/2021."
