By Jack Lenton 14th Jan 2022

Officers are appealing for information after a van containing sentimental items, including a model train, was stolen in Biddulph.

Police were called at 8.05am on Thursday (6 January) to Farmside Lane in Biddulph - where a white Ford Transit van was reported stolen.

Officers believe it was taken sometime between 8.30pm on Wednesday (5 January) and 7.45am on Thursday.

A hand-built model of a steam train and a number of photographs were present in the van when it was stolen.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the theft.

It's the second such incident of vans being stolen in Biddulph in a week. Nub News reported recently how officers were called to property off Tunstall Road, Knypersley at around 7.50am on Monday (10 January) after a white Ford Transit was stolen off the driveway of a property.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage should contact Staffordshire Police on Facebook, Twitter, or call 101, quoting incident number 108 of 6 January. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
