Police called to "incident" at Fountain Court

Police cars were spotted in Biddulph last night (Sunday, 16th August) after officers attended an incident on Fountain Court.

Police arrived on the street at around 7.45pm, with residents also saying that officers were at the scene over four hours later.

A statement has since been released confirming that police were in attendance at an "incident".

However, little information has been provided on what the incident may have been about.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We can confirm we were called to reports of an incident on Fountain Court in Biddulph at 3pm on Sunday 16 August.

"Officers returned a short time later but no police action was necessary."
