Staffordshire Police have confirmed they are investigating after a Biddulph woman was flashed while out running in the town.

The woman was running down Woodhouse Lane yesterday evening (Tuesday) at around 6pm, when an old, silver Vauxhall Corsa pulled up beside her, and the driver exposed himself to her.

The driver is described as being in his mid 30s with fair hair, blue eyes, a black jacket and blue jeans, and was wearing a mask.

The incident happened outside the entrance to the Woodhouse Academy school.

A resident has since warned Biddulph's runners to remain vigilant, saying on social media: "Biddulph runners and walkers beware.

"The police have been informed and have asked that it be put on social media - please be vigilant, especially where your kids could be, there are some absolute weirdos out there."

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police told Biddulph Nub News: "We are investigating and the information you have matches our report.

"Anyone with information should contact us on 101 or via social media, referencing incident number 104 of 13th January."
