Police investigating attempted break-in at Biddulph Moor home

Police are investigating after being called to reports of an attempted burglary in Biddulph Moor in the early hours of this morning.

Officers were called to Stanways Lane to find that a patio door handle of one of the homes on the street had been damaged.

Police have now asked anyone who may have any information to contact them.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police told Nub News: "Police were called to an address off Stanways Lane, Biddulph Moor, at around 1.45am this morning (Tuesday 31 May) following reports of a burglary.

"Officers attended and on arrival found a door handle on a patio door had been damaged.

"Nothing was reported as stolen and no one was injured.

"Inquiries are continuing.

"Anyone with information should contact Staffordshire Police on Facebook, Twitter or call 101, quoting incident number 043 of 31 May.

"Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
