A patrol outside Biddulph High School was the latest part of a police campaign to tackle dangerous and illegal parking in the area.
Biddulph Nub News reported recently how police across the Moorlands have been tackling dangerous parking as part of a national campaign organised by the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC).
Officers have been patrolling the roads around local schools and reporting any vehicles they see parked in dangerous positions.
The latest patrol took place outside Biddulph High School, with a spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team saying: "Moorlands Officers have been patrolling our roads around local schools due to reports of vehicles being parked illegally and/or obstructing the roads. Please be mindful to always park legally and safely."
Mark Thorley, Chief Inspector for the Staffordshire Police Moorlands Team, added: "I'm sure the work done this week will have led to quite a few considering if they are parking safely and considerately as they drop off and pick up."
The patrols are being conducted as part of the Parking Star campaign which aims to make sure parents park safely and legally when dropping their children off at school.
Parents have been asked not to park on zig zags and double yellow lines or in a way that blocks access for emergency vehicles.
