Police tow vehicle and arrest occupant after Brown Edge obstruction

Police towed a vehicle that was causing an obstruction on a Brown Edge road.

The vehicle was removed from Tongue Lane on Friday (1st April) after concerned residents got in touch with officers to make a report.

Officers say that the occupant of vehicle, which appears to be a Volkswagen transit van, was also arrested for other offences.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team said: "Local Moorlands officers have recovered a vehicle causing an obstruction on Tongue Lane today following a report from concerned residents, the occupant of the vehicle was arrested for other offences.

"Great work from the local community of Brown Edge and the surrounding areas!"
