Here at Biddulph Nub News we have loved covering all things Biddulph and keeping residents informed of what's going on in the town throughout the whole of 2021.

We launched in June 2020, meaning 2021 was our first full calendar year of covering news in the town!

And in 2021 we are pleased to say that our site went from strength to strength. Over the course of this year our site has received over hundreds of thousands of page views, and we now boast over 2,500 combined followers on Facebook and Twitter!

1. Biddulph Aldi opening date announcement In November we were the first to break the news of when Biddulph Aldi would be opening, and it became our most popular story of the year! Read it here. 2. Knypersley bonfire and fireworks Also in November, a simple What's On post announcing the bonfire and fireworks display in Knypersley was read by many of you. Read it here. 3. Search for reservoir hero. A search for an unknown hero who rescued a child from Knypersley Reservoir was also very well read! Read it here. 4. Police order woman to stay away from Biddulph Wetherspoons Another story from September as a woman was ordered not to attend Biddulph's branch of Wetherspoons after police were called to reports of her "refusing to leave" the local pub. Biddulph teacher banned for secretly drinking wine while giving lessons Back in June a teacher from Biddulph was banned after she was caught giving lessons while drinking a bottle of wine throughout the school day.
