Local residents have been encouraged to love where they live by keeping it clean and joining in with community litter picking events.
The Brown Edge Community Litter Pick will take place this Saturday (18th July) from 10am - 12pm, and everyone has been invited to join in.
The event has been organised by Brown Edge Parish Council and local councillor Joe Porter, and the litter picking will be focused on Marshes Hill Common and Knypersley Reservoir.
Cllr Porter said: "This Saturday Brown Edge Parish Council and I are running a litter pick at Marshes Hill Common and Knypersley Reservoir to help keep our community clean and tidy.
"Please join us at 10am in Marshes Hill car park for a socially distanced litter pick where you will be given litter picking equipment and allocated an area. We look forward to seeing you this Saturday!"
Social distancing and Government guidelines will be maintained during the litter pick.
If you have any questions, contact Cllr Porter at [email protected] or Parish Clerk Denise Wheat at [email protected] for more information.
